Overview
Assist the Food Development and Application Department in product research, development, and application.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Food Development and Application Department in product research, development, and application.
- Assist in Food Development and Application Department in handling halal application and sensory preparation.
- Perform laboratory scale production of prototypes for new or improved products.
- Responsible for conducting scale-up tests from laboratory scale to commercial plant scale.
- Carry out necessary physical and chemical property analyses on prototype products according to approved Standard Operating Procedures, including shelf life, flowability, size distribution, specific volume, and other properties.
- Prepare and send samples for analysis to Q.C. Lab, Bio-Lab, or other analytical laboratories as instructed.
- Calculate, prepare, and maintain test data and analysis reports in a systematic manner.
- Prepare and pack product samples for internal stock and distribution to customers.
- Participate in internal and external sensory tests.
- Ensure raw materials are used economically, labelled, and preserved properly.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are used correctly, maintained in good working order, and stored in their proper places.
- Carry out packaging and packing tests following instructions and experimental design by related executive and supervisor.
- Monitor the internal sample request form in a systematic manner.
- Participate in 5S activities.
- Participate in safety and environmental activities and follow its rules.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics.Preferably at least 1 year of related working experience.Preferably Non-Executive specializing in Science / R&D / Research or equivalent.Good communication skills in English and Malay, for both spoken and written.1 Non-Executive positions available.#J-18808-Ljbffr
