What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)
Discover new opportunities – Actively prospect new customers to grow our food ingredient sales especially in functional food / dietary supplementFoster strong relationships – Build and maintain strong B2B relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and loyaltyExpand our client base – Identify and develop new business opportunities with both existing and new clients to achieve monthly sales KPIsEngage with customers – Conduct customer visits, present products, and suggest tailored solutionsProvide valuable insights – Deliver regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to managementStreamline operations – Ensure seamless processing of customer orders, monitor stock movement, and forecast customer needsSupport the sales process – Assist with product quotations, follow up on sales orders, and help finance with late collectionsEngage with suppliers – Strengthen business collaboration by coordinating sample requests, attending business meetings, and executing joint promotional activities to drive market growthFacilitate communication – Initiate clear and effective communication as a key bridge between the sales team, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth information flow, timely updates, and alignment of business objectivesWhat do we need from you (Job Requirements)
A Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical or related fieldsMin. 5 years of experience or more as Sales in Food Ingredients industries (Functional Food / Nutraceutical / Dietary supplement, etc)Candidates with sales experience but without prior experience in the food industry are encouraged to apply. Your passion for the industry and willingness to learn are equally valuedStrong understanding of food ingredients, food supplements, and market trendsProficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and EnglishWillingness to travel within MalaysiaQuestions for Applicants
