Functional Test Engineer

Responsible for the transition of new products and processes from engineering to manufacturing and the supply chain. Responsible for all manufacturing test related issues (FCT / SYST / ESS, etc.). Knowledge in a Linux-based operating system environment. Responsible for all manufacturing test equipment and fixtures setup, maintenance, calibration, evaluation and troubleshooting. Responsible for customer product test method, evaluation, enhancement and RMA test failure analysis. This position will work closely with product engineering to define manufacturing requirements within the New Product Development process. Manage test yield, up time performance and capacity analysis for all test processes. Work with the CFT team to improve test yield / quality issues and root cause analysis. Work with customers to address any test-related issues, requests, or improvements. Work with suppliers / developers on test hardware / software development or improvement. Assist Test Technician in developing tester operation, maintenance and troubleshooting skill sets. Assist Debug Technician in developing product debugging methods and skillsets. Manage debug Work In Progress (WIP) inventories at minimal level. Any other assignment from Manager. Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 year(s) of working experience in PCBA / Box System manufacturing or Test Engineering, preferably from EMS background. Familiar with test method and understanding of the test program at Functional Test area. Familiar with ESS / HASS chamber and capable of creating a test profile, test fixture / rack based on customer test specification. Experience in analog and digital circuit theory, statistical analysis tools. Capable of performing failure analysis at system level down to device electronics boards. Knowledge of operating basic test instruments (such as digital oscilloscope, LCR meter, spectrum analyzers, etc.). Application questions
