An e-commerce executive manages and enhances online platforms, coordinates digital marketing efforts, and ensures smooth order fulfillment and inventory management. This role involves analyzing data and market trends to develop strategies for maximizing sales and optimizing the customer journey. The executive works cross-functionally with teams in marketing, sales, logistics, and customer service to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence, ultimately supporting the company’s digital revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the company’s e-commerce platforms, including product listings, order processing, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement online sales and marketing strategies to boost traffic and conversion rates.
  • Monitor website performance and improve user experience by analyzing web analytics and customer behavior.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities in the digital space.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT, logistics, design) to ensure seamless e-commerce operations.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest enhancements based on data insights.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, SEO / SEM, and email marketing initiatives to support online sales.
  • Manage inventory, logistics, and fulfillment processes for timely order delivery.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Expertise in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools, SEO / SEM, and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Practical experience with online customer service and digital merchandising.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with effective teamwork.
  • Inventory and order management skills to ensure product availability and smooth order fulfillment.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Able to work independently, multitask, and with a high level of attention to detail whilst under pressure.

  • Technical proficiency : Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, EasyStore, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop), system integrations, and automation tools for smooth operations.
  • Project & Vendor Management : Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional projects and working with external partners.
  • Data analytics and insights : Ability to interpret analytics tools, extract actionable data, and optimize strategies based on trends and customer behavior.
  • Customer-centric mindset : Commitment to service excellence, understanding consumer psychology, and enhancing the online shopping experience.
  • Digital marketing expertise : Proficiency in SEO, social media, PPC, and campaign management to boost traffic and conversions.
