API & Integration Senior Developer, APAC

The Opportunity :

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity, working as our API & Integration Senior Developer within the Asia Pacific region. Within the role you’ll build and unit / integration testing of APIs and integration.

You will have a chance to be part of a new project that will build a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform to enable new distribution models. Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for high levels of automation and straight through processing across the full insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build a deep understanding of business requirements and best ways to build integrations / APIs.
• Design of domain centric APIs
• Build and testing of integrations
• Build of external facing APIs using REST / JSON
• Documentation of APIs using Swagger
• Integration trouble shooting & defect analysis
• CI / CD processes (eg configuration management, daily automated build, unit testing etc).
• Interfacing with other teams for technical details related to integration between systems (both internal & external)
