Penerangan pekerjaanMonitor daily accounts operation tasks, oversee billing and invoicing, and reconcile bank statements and sheets. Preparation of Business and Instalment Activity Statements (BAS), GST / SST returns for submission. Payroll services for clients (through system) and preparation of Payroll tax lodgement. Handle full set of accounts for clients, ensure financial records are accurate and organised, and prepare Monthly / Yearly Management Reports (including schedules) for stakeholder meetings, financial audits and tax queries. Liaise with clients’ auditor / tax agent on audit, tax, and statutory requirements matters. Includes other duties as assigned by the superior, including field visits etc. Communicate findings with stakeholders and executive leadership. Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company. Stay informed about current legislation and regulations relating to accounting, e‑invoicing, taxation and payroll. Review work done by juniors to ensure consistency in accounting practices and provide guidance on financial reporting and operational matters. A degree in Accounting / Accountancy or CPA / ACCA qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles. 5‑7 years of experience in a related field, bringing valuable insights and best practices to the role. Understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the AASB / MPERS / MASB. An independent, proactive, and resourceful individual with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Hubdoc and HRIS) and e‑invoicing systems. Fluency in English, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders. Prior experience with an Accounting or Audit Firm is a plus.
