Job Description
BROAD FUNCTIONS
- Lead, manage and take ownership on the overall operational health of the HVAC and Mechanical system
- Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and equipment repairs
- Manage capacity and design changes according to the requirements from manufacturing / customers
- Conduct and execute facility system improvements on reliability hardening, safety performance as well as cost optimization and reduction
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
- Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive maintenance outsource service contracts
- Maintain compliance to local city and state government requirement and overall country legal legislation, ordinances and codes of practices.
- Liaison with relevant local government agencies and contractors
- Engage and liaison with consultants on mechanical system design and construction.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Comply with all safety procedures, practices and requirements
- Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
- Attend training sessions and seminars and other assigned tasks as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To establish the operation procedure, system monitoring & repair maintenance of responsible sectionsTo review & analyze the operating data to optimize the Facilities operating systemTo support production / manufacturing needs and requestTo team up with all the facilities peers & contractors in troubleshooting the Facilities systemTo identified & drive the cost saving & improvement programTo supervise contractor engineer and technician, routine job to ensure the HVAC & Mechanical system supporting production comply to specification and government regulationExposure & experience in RODI / WWTP system.To plan, organize, execute & control for the specific projectTo ensure compliance to IMS requirement, Contamination Control, 5S & SafetyTo liaise with contractor, consultant on the facilities related mattersTo coordinate the major plan shutdown maintenanceTo carry out special task as assigned by supervisorTo support the activities to the company needsQualifications (REQUIRED)
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.PMP (project management professional) or FMP (facility management professional) would be an advantage.5 to 10 years working experience in the facilities related field in semiconductor or electronic or related industriesAble to demonstrate the necessary competency in leadership, management and HVAC technical know how.SKILLS
Design knowledge in HVAC and cleanroom are preferred.Hands on experience in predictive and preventive maintenanceKnowledge & application of Psychometric principles will be essentialAdditional Information
