Principal Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

BROAD FUNCTIONS

• Lead, manage and take ownership on the overall operational health of the HVAC and Mechanical system
• Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and equipment repairs
• Manage capacity and design changes according to the requirements from manufacturing / customers
• Conduct and execute facility system improvements on reliability hardening, safety performance as well as cost optimization and reduction
• Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
• Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive maintenance outsource service contracts
• Maintain compliance to local city and state government requirement and overall country legal legislation, ordinances and codes of practices.
• Liaison with relevant local government agencies and contractors
• Engage and liaison with consultants on mechanical system design and construction.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Comply with all safety procedures, practices and requirements
• Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
• Attend training sessions and seminars and other assigned tasks as requested.
