Overview
Job Overview : Assist in planning, executing, and supporting geotechnical engineering activities for a variety of civil and infrastructure projects. This includes contributing to site investigations, data collection, geotechnical analysis, and report preparation, as well as supporting design and construction supervision under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and supervision of geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling, field testing, borehole logging, and lab testing.
- Participate in site reconnaissance and data collection to assess subsurface conditions and potential geotechnical risks.
- Perform basic geotechnical analyses under supervision (e.g., bearing capacity, slope stability, settlement, and soil classification).
- Assist in developing design recommendations for foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and earthworks.
- Support supervision and monitoring of geotechnical works during construction, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
- Assist in preparing geotechnical reports, drawings, and documentation based on field data and analysis results.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).Fresh graduate or one year of relevant working experience in geotechnical or civil engineering projects.Basic knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation techniques.Registered as a Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
