We are expanding our team in Malaysia, and are looking to hire a Video Editor to join our team.
As a Video Editor, you will be working with the marketing team to harness your creativity and video editing skills to produce engaging content for various digital platforms. You will collaborate with regional stakeholders along with the sales team to deliver high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
Key responsibilities :
- Edit raw footage into compelling, clear, and engaging video content.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and creative direction.
- Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the video.
- Insert graphics, animations, and visual effects to improve video quality and convey information.
- Ensure proper video quality (resolution, color grading, etc.) and meet platform specifications.
- Review and make revisions to video content based on feedback.
- Organize and maintain the video library, ensuring easy access to footage for future projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and editing software to enhance the video production process.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of video production.
- Ensure proper formatting and exporting of videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, TV, web).

To succeed in this role, you will be :
A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in an Arts programme or a related fieldA minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in video editing, either in an agency or client-side environmentProficiency in video editing using software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and / or similarExperience with generative AI and marketing technologies is an added advantageStrong command of English with excellent communication skillsA strategic thinker who is self-driven and eager to contribute ideas independentlyA strong team player who enjoys solving problems collaborativelySkills
