About the role
As the Manager of International Logistics at BRIGHTRAY ASSET MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in optimising the company's global supply chain operations. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor and will involve overseeing all aspects of international logistics, including transportation, distribution, and customs clearance.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing strategies to streamline international logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Negotiating contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics service providers to secure competitive rates and reliable service
- Overseeing the timely and cost-effective movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and customs requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the supply chain
- Analysing data and preparing reports to measure and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Leading and mentoring a team of logistics specialists to foster a culture of continuous improvement
