Ansell is looking for a Assoc Director, Global Category Management - Chemical PPE to join our team in Cyberjaya ! In this position you will play a vital role in leading the strategic management of assigned chemical product categories, driving portfolio growth, lifecycle optimization, and new product development.

What your role will be?
Supports the development of the category management strategy, including overall product development priorities, product positioning in line w / customer’s willingness to pay and vs. the competitive set and has overall responsibility for portfolio sales, profit and competitiveness.Leads and actively drives the overall product lifecycle of the assigned product range / portfolio, recommends and ensures execution of improvement / rationalization initiatives of existing products to increase sales and / or profitability and overall operational efficiency.Monitors and acts upon sales and field reports, pricing levels and competition pertaining to responsible product area.Responsible for the Global marketing plans (including budgeting) of his / her product range and ensures product positioning, strategies and tactics maximize top line and marginsIn support of Vertical efforts and New Product Development, provides guidance / support in the definition, development, introduction and positioning of new products and ensures the NPD initiatives are in line with the portfolio strategyInitiates NPD initiatives and provides direct-report supervision, coaching and strategic oversight of the NPD project leader ensuring all technical and regulatory initiatives are adhered toEnsures all aspects of the NPD process are being actioned to support the portfolio strategy and business competitive needs.Working with Global Operations, provides expertise and leadership to ensure complete and accurate product specifications, operational efficiency and optimization.Contributes to the development, management and improvement of product specifications, quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and company quality standardsActively participates in Sales and Operations Planning efforts pertaining to NPD and NPS.Registering and working with the Legal teams to apply or TM or IP for NPDLead, manage, develop a team of GCM and Technical supportWhat will you bring to Ansell?
