Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Employment and Personal tax compliance
- Prepare and review employer tax documents for employers ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax legislation.
- Prepare and review Malaysian individual tax returns for expatriates ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international tax legislation.
- Manage tax equalisation calculations and hypothetical tax assessments for expatriates.
- Monitor and ensure timely submission of personal tax returns and payments.
Consulting and advisory
Provide Malaysian tax advisory services to clients regarding international tax issues including taxation treaties, foreign tax credits and double taxation relief.Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring of employee assignments and compensation packages.Assist in the development and implementation of global mobility policies and procedures.Client Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries providing prompt and accurate responses.Collaborate with clients, HR and payroll departments to gather necessary information for tax compliance.Research and Analysis
Stay updated on global tax regulations, changes in tax laws and industry best practices.Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide detailed analysis and recommendations.Assist in the development of technical training materials and deliver training sessions to clients and internal teams.Team Collaboration
Work closely with global Vialto team members to coordinate advice and ensure seamless service delivery.Support senior team members in large client projects and engagements.Participate in team meetings, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications And Requirements
Minimum Degree Required : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.Work location : Kuala Lumpur / Penang.We’re looking for an agile, responsive individual who seeks technical and operational excellence.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GoogleAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Additional Information
