Legal Executive

Overview

As a Legal Executive, you will be part of an exciting legal team of one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing healthcare groups. The role will involve you attending to a mix of both corporate and litigation matters. You will be assisting with all legal matters under the Sunway Healthcare Group.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in medico-legal and litigation matters (drafting, amending, problem-solving, case review, patient or family complaints, research, and administrative duties).
• Liaising with, instructing, and receiving updates from external counsels on debt recovery and litigation matters.
• Preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing all agreements / contracts with legal impact for the company in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performing detailed review and drafting of contracts after legal research, and making recommendations.
• Drafting internal and external communication and correspondence in clear, concise language and addressing relevant issues.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external parties, explaining legal issues, and contract terms.
• Managing and keeping oversight of contracts for stamping, renewal, and document management with the assistance of a legal assistant.
• Keeping up with current changes in all relevant areas of law and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function.
