CNC Technical Trainer

Responsibilities

• To plan the training schedule for the department.
• Training to cover machine handling, documentation and safety awareness in the department.
• To evaluate yearly whether the machinist is qualified to handle the machine or equipment.
• To update the skill matrix yearly once the machinist / personnel have completed the training.
• To prepare the training for any personnel / machinist for promotion to the next level before actual promotion is done in order to make sure they are ready to take new responsibility.
• To prepare the monthly report on the progress of the training schedule of the department.
• To provide training to production staff on the processes, work instructions (WI) and improvements implemented on the production floor.
• Analysis on the training data for any improvement needed.
• Able to lead a team of the machinists / staff when needed to complete the task assigned.
• To lead / guide / train the team when needed to complete a task assigned.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
