Section Head - Database Administrator

Penerangan pekerjaanA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Expertise in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. A Database Administrator coming from Majority Microsoft environment is mandatory Strong knowledge of database security protocols and disaster recovery planning. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with the Energy & Natural Resources industry is an advantage. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor security protocols to safeguard database integrity.
- Oversee database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database architecture and performance.
- Conduct regular audits and performance tuning of databases.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into database management.
- Prepare and present reports on database performance and improvements to stakeholders.
