Work you’ll do
Engagement management :
Perform work done in accordance with the Firm’s quality control for information / documents / financial reports under the tasks assigned by the Team Leader / Manager in charge of the audit team; allocate tasks to subordinates to prepare those documents and be responsible for managing the quality of work and deadlines done by the subordinates.
Proactively assist Team Leader / Senior Manager / Manager in dealing with clients’ requests / issues related to professional and technical knowledge through Vietnam accounting / auditing system, current financial management regulations, Deloitte approach and other related regulations.
Assist Team Leader in : (i) Completion of financial obligations of the Contract with the Company after providing service (following up with billing and collection); (ii) Completion of administrative obligations with the Company after providing services (archiving, documentation, reports, working papers in compliance with the quality control procedures of the Firm).
Manage the work of subordinates including allocation of work, guiding and reviewing work to ensure quality compliance.
Perform training-on-the-job, mentoring and coaching for subordinates in the engagements.
Review performance of subordinates through frequent quality performance conversations.
Ensure all Code of Conduct, Ethics, Independence and Security requirements are fully complied. Ensure the confidentiality of the documents and working papers of clients during the work process.
Learning and Development :
Participate in technical and talent courses in the A&A Learning curriculum designed annually as required for the level; on-the-job training by Managers; self-develop technically and in soft skills via Deloitte Learning Platforms and resources; ensure the minimum learning hours required for the level.
Continually develop self to meet the Global Talent Standards (GTS) for Audit and Assurance professionals at senior level; conduct the capability assessment against the GTS annually to create action plans for self-development towards higher levels.
Reports and Communication : Regularly report on progress of the work within the assigned scope to meet requirements of content, presentation method and deadline; update and seek consultation with the team leader when facing difficulties; respond promptly to the team leader; complete working papers and reports as requested and ensure service quality control objectives are met; stay connected with the team via the Firm’s communication channels.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, auditing, finance, or banking.
At least two (2) years’ experience in performing accounting services or auditing and assurance services to clients.
Professional qualifications (CPA / VN, ACCA, CPAA, ICAEW) preferred.
Knowledge or background in computer science, data science, data analytics, programming, Power BI, SQL is a priority.
Excellent English language skills; competent computer skills. Ability to use other languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
Good communication skills, analytical thinking, ability to work in a team; frequent travelling.
Ability to manage teams, coach and mentor team members, and develop team members.
