Supply Chain Assistant Manager

The Supply Chain Assistant Manager supports the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing daily operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand. This role is designed to gradually take on key responsibilities such as PO management, supplier negotiation, and 3PL coordination, ensuring business continuity in the event of leadership transition.

Responsibilities :

Assist the Supply Chain Manager in supervising S&OP, Logistics, Shipping, and Supply Chain Executives.

Prepare and review Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely approval.

Liaise with suppliers on lead times, order fulfillment, and operational negotiations (MOQ, delivery schedules).

Support in 3PL performance management, monitoring KPIs and escalating issues when required.

Assist in forecasting alignment with commercial teams and ensuring proper stock replenishment.

Participate in supplier and 3PL meetings alongside the Manager / Head of Supply Chain.

Lead smaller projects or process improvements under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager.

Act as deputy to the Supply Chain Manager during absence or escalation needs.

JOB SPECIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS :

Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.

4–6 years’ experience in supply chain operations, with exposure to supplier management and 3PL coordination.

Familiar with 3PL, shipping, import / export documentation.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple markets.

Excel proficiency and basic knowledge of inventory or order management systems.

Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.

Fluent in English and Mandarin (for supplier communication).

Positive and open attitude, collaborative and self-motivated personality.

Hands-on and detail-oriented, with capability to step up into a managerial role.
