Location : Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 45 AM – 5 : 45 PM

Employment Type : Permanent

Salary Range : Up to RM7,500 / month

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate effectively with business units, technical teams, governance bodies, and service providers to ensure timely execution of project implementation plans.
  • Monitor and track project deliverables using appropriate tools, providing direction and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and report project issues, delays in tasks or milestones, and potential risks — while facilitating prompt resolution and mitigation efforts.
  • Actively remove roadblocks and address challenges to ensure the team stays focused and aligned with project goals.
  • Prepare and deliver timely reports on project status, budget utilization, risks, and issues to provide early visibility and enable informed decision-making by relevant stakeholders or governance committees.
  • Champion high-quality project delivery, promoting continuous improvement and accountability in execution.
  • Manage scope changes efficiently by overseeing the change request process, ensuring impacts are evaluated and documented.
  • Demonstrate agility, professionalism, and adaptability in managing work priorities and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that have organizational impact, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
  • Ensure consistent application of PMO practices, governance standards, documentation protocols, and project methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT or a related domain.
  • Strong experience in preparing project management documentation, including tenders, proposals, presentations, reports, and risk / stakeholder management plans.
  • Familiarity with IT and software development lifecycles is a strong advantage.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and information synthesis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on, with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills; able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proven people management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent are considered an added advantage.
