Objective

Manage Internet Giants Client Account portfolio of solution execution projects (Cat. B / A) : large projects and multi-business initiatives with high added value in a complex environment (multicultural, matrix organization, multi-country).

Support and supervise project execution teams, monitor and control progress & budget, assess & manage risks and opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.

Act as a mentor within the Solution Center PM team, contributing to the project managers community, fostering harmonization across countries.

The Global Project Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels, proactive, demonstrate strong leadership, and adapt to a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.

Serve as the interface between the Internet Giants Client Account project leadership and Schneider execution / operation teams.

Main Responsibilities

Mission :

Drive the execution of solution projects (Cat. B / A) for a dedicated VIP client.
Achieve four main objectives : high customer satisfaction (score of 9 or higher), team satisfaction, project profitability (target at P2 stage gate with a 2% margin), successful project execution (scope, specs, schedule), and effective risk & opportunity management.

Tasks include :

Validate organization chart, estimate hours, travel costs, and spare parts budget for the execution team.

Lead a group of PMs in the APAC region.

Ensure unification and harmonization, coaching and mentoring local resources, identifying potential successors.

Collaborate with C&SP segment team and peers in other regions.

Identify upcoming projects, participate in project setup, and share information and training on account fundamentals.

Ensure project management best practices, lessons learned, document sharing, risk management, and project reviews.

Coordinate with supply chain, ensure project milestones are met, and manage project risks.

Engage with customer and lead communication on quality issues.

Specific Requirements

Engineer or Business Master’s degree.

Over 5 years of experience in project management within electrical distribution.

Knowledge of management, planning tools (MS Project), SAP project module, and CRM.

Fluent in English.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and international travel willingness.
