Location : Bandar Puteri Puchong

Job Description :

New Product PR Strategy

  • Develop and execute PR strategies for new product launches in alignment with vivo's brand and market goals.
  • Promote new products through media channels to highlight vivo's core values.
  • Manage brand image to maintain consistency and a positive public perception.

Media Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and media outlets in Malaysia.
  • Prepare and distribute press materials to ensure timely and accurate information.
  • Organize media events and manage crisis PR to protect the brand’s reputation.
  • Content Creation and Communication

  • Plan and execute creative content aligned with vivo’s brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with local media, influencers, and KOLs to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Event Planning

  • Plan and execute brand-related events to boost exposure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across public relations and marketing efforts.
  • Supervise event execution to ensure smooth operations and maximize impact.
  • Internal Communication and Reporting

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align PR efforts with overall business strategies.
  • Track and report on PR effectiveness, proposing improvements as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4-6 years) in Public Relations or Integrated Marketing Communications, with a focus on product launches, media relations, and brand management, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry.
  • Strong media relations experience, particularly in Malaysia, with a track record of building relationships with key journalists, outlets, and influencers.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu , with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all languages. "We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and the ability to track and report PR effectiveness using analytic tools.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across teams, ensuring alignment of PR efforts with broader marketing and business strategies.
  • Experience in organizing large-scale events and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
