Project Manager

  • RM 4,000 – RM 6,000
  • RM 8,000 – RM 12,000

Job Description

1. Project Planning & Initiation

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and scope.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify required resources (manpower, equipment, materials).
  • Obtain permits and approvals, and liaise with relevant authorities when necessary.

    • 2. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks and monitor staff performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Manage conflicts and ensure effective communication among all parties.

    • 3. Execution & Monitoring

  • Ensure construction and engineering activities comply with design specifications and standards.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones.
  • Track costs, manage budgets, and control project expenditures.
  • Identify risks, delays, or issues, and implement corrective actions.

    • 4. Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH, and local authority safety regulations.
  • Oversee quality control inspections and testing.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
  • Promote a safe working culture and enforce safety policies.

    • 5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, variation orders, site reports).
  • Handle claims, variations, and contractual matters.

    • 6. Project Handover & Closure

  • Ensure defects are rectified and final inspections are completed.
  • Prepare project completion and handover documentation.
  • Conduct a final review to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Close project accounts and prepare lessons-learned documentation.

    • Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related professional qualification.
  • Proficiency in software : AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Preferably at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and techniques.
  • Good customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
  • Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Full-time position available.
  • Willing to travel (Northern & Central Region of Peninsular Malaysia).
