We’re looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our expanding team. Logistics Specialists review Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities.
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for :
- Completing manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing and arranging for the shipment of materials, handling incoming shipments, unpack boxes and verify contents
- Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks
- Maintain accountability of in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments
- Assist with ongoing requests to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations to support build and repair activities
- Working with the Logistics Manager, create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement
- Working closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately
- Working with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations
- Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator
- Support an environment that operates 24 / 7
- Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehicles
- Handle sensitive / classified client materials
- Work with and / or around moving mechanical parts

1+ years of logistics experience - shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practicesExperienced with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)A valid driver's license is requiredPreferred Qualifications :
