RTR Manager – ACCA Careers

ACCA Careers, located in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced RTR Manager to lead the RTR team within our Shared Service Centre. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial integrity of our manufacturing operations and provides strategic leadership over core accounting functions.

About the Role

The RTR Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across our three key pillars : GL, Intercompany, and Fixed Assets. Responsibilities include managing month‑end and year‑end close activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments; ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards and regulatory compliance; partnering with cross‑functional teams to optimize processes; analyzing financial data for trends and improvement opportunities; and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report process
  • Manage month‑end and year‑end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and necessary adjustments
  • Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to optimize accounting processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and insights for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a high‑performance culture
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to inquiries promptly

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively
  • Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams
