The Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for providing operational support for all activities related to the public cloud and infrastructure on the x86 platform architecture including Linux for all types of servers and operating systems for Deloitte APAC. The candidate will be responsible for managing the relevant systems operationally, ensuring compliance to Deloitte global standards, and supporting troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related problems. The candidate must be able to think out of the box to explore new ways of working to improve the operation of end-to-end infrastructure in the region. A successful candidate for this position must understand thoroughly how to leverage cloud and infrastructure technology with hands-on technical experience including excellent technical skills in Linux (SUSE, RHEL, AM2) and knowledge / understanding of core network, security, database and application for concepts. The candidate should be well organized, able to work independently, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
