Legal Associate

with at least 2 years' litigation experience with brilliant research and analytical skills.

The candidate is expected to display sound judgment and decision-making with outstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Candidates should be determined

(feeling jaded once in a while is fine)

, with a keen interest in upholding the law. Possessing an ability to empathize with team members and clients is imperative. Knowing when to suppress that empathy

will be a bonus.

Public speaking and writing skills are imperative, with an excellent command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Possessing a colossal courage to

use

those skills against difficult opponents would set you in premium class.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct legal research and gather evidence.
• Explain the law and give legal advice, preferably the right one.
• Facilitate innovative solutions to client problems.
• Offer legal representation to clients in court proceedings on civil matters and in mediation hearings.
• Draft, review and manage pleadings, notices of application and make appearances in court.
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related matters.
