Onshore Nurse - Bayan Lepas

Overview

Plays an integral role to support site emergency health care services for the workforce on site. Oversees all aspects of clinical and medical management within the clinic, including medical evacuation support. Undertakes clinical consultations and provides the requisite standard of service and care to patients attending the clinic. Assists with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the clinic, administers first aid, and treats minor illnesses. Provides primary outpatient care and basic emergency medical care on the site to stabilize the patient, conducts limited diagnostic testing, and assists in patient transfer by ambulance to a designated medical facility. Provides nursing consultations and determines which cases require further consultation with the Occupational Health Doctor. Documents all medical cases and ensures correct storage of medical records. Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Operations Manager / Operations Manager, Medical Services / Medical Director, Medical Services / Occupational Health Doctor.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultations and standard of care to patients attending the clinic.
• Ensure proper triage, patient flow, and elevation of care as needed.
• Administer first aid and treat minor illnesses on site.
• Deliver primary outpatient care and basic emergency medical care to stabilize patients on site.
• Assist in diagnostic testing and coordinate patient transfer by ambulance to a designated medical facility.
• Provide nursing consultations and escalate to the Occupational Health Doctor as required.
• Document all medical cases and maintain proper medical records storage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising medical leadership.
