Senior Software Engineer

Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.

Job Description

In your new role, you will :

• Serve as the technical lead for the local team, providing software technical expert consultancy to the Factory Integration (FI) team.
• Actively participate in the DevOps & Agile process for the MHA solutions.
• Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
• Represent the local site as a software technical advisor on MHA topics, collaborating closely with the global team in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.
• Lead and guide smaller project teams to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
• Translate user requirements into tailored MHA software solutions.
• Gather user requirements for new requests or enhancements of MHA solutions, and oversee implementation, testing, and rollout to production.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across local and global teams to foster continuous improvement.
• Implement new features into existing applications and develop innovative automation software solutions, adhering to approved technologies and Infineon’s FI architectural guidelines.
• Conduct Automation Capability Management testing and engage in technical negotiations with equipment vendors.
