Regional Sales Director - Chemical Industry (B2B)
Responsibilities
- Lead market penetration across assigned geographies and chemical industry segments, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and expanding share-of-wallet with existing accounts.
- Develop and implement a structured Sales Plan aligned with regional goals, broken down by customer accounts, geographies, and product lines. Track progress monthly and adjust strategies as needed.
- Gain a deep understanding of chemical customers’ operations, compliance needs, and growth strategies to tailor product and service offerings that address their specific requirements.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with major accounts, fostering loyalty and ensuring high retention.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, quality, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring all KPIs and service commitments are consistently met or exceeded.
Ideal Candidate
Currently in a senior B2B sales role, with proven success in developing international sales and managing complex chemical-related customer portfolios (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, or industrial PPE sectors).Demonstrated track record in securing and managing large, multi-million-dollar accounts involving long sales cycles and technical solution selling.More than 14 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 6 years working directly with customers in industries requiring chemical solutions.Seniority level
