Seedflex is a CreditTech platform co-founded by ex-Grab leaders, offering frictionless financing to merchants through our innovative Pay-As-You-Sell Advance product.

We are looking for a visionary AI Engineer who is eager to shape the future of financial services. Our early work with agentic AI has been successful, and we are now building the infrastructure required to scale our AI capabilities across the business.

Job Description

You will be responsible for developing our AI ecosystem, taking existing workflows and re-engineering them into production-grade, reliable, and efficient systems. This role requires a high degree of intuition and deep understanding of our goals to build effective solutions efficiently.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • System Development : Architect, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and agentic systems using Python.
  • Production Engineering & MLOps : Transition successful AI pilots from proof-of-concept to production by re-engineering for high performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing MLOps best practices.
  • LLM Integration, Evaluation & Cost Management : Work with APIs from leading language models (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude).
  • Prompt & Context Engineering : Design, test, and refine complex prompts and context-management strategies to maximize the performance and reliability of LLM-powered features.
  • Security & Data Governance : Implement and oversee best practices for the secure and compliant handling of sensitive data within all AI systems and third-party API interactions.
  • Process Automation : Design and implement intelligent automation for business processes.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with our AI Task Force, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify and solve challenges using AI.
  • System Maintenance & LLM Observability : Establish and implement robust observability for AI systems.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

  • Professional Experience : Demonstrated experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, AI Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Python Proficiency : Expert-level programming skills in Python and its common data science / AI libraries.
  • LLM Frameworks & Prompt Engineering : Hands-on experience with modern LLM application frameworks and a strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques.
  • API Integration : Experience integrating and utilizing APIs from major providers like OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude).
  • Software Engineering Foundation : A strong understanding of software engineering principles for building scalable systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : The ability to translate business requirements into concrete technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

    • Bonus Points (Nice to Haves)

  • Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n, Zapier or others.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar advanced context management techniques.
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  • Experience in the FinTech industry.
  • A portfolio of relevant AI projects (e.g., on GitHub).
