Senior Data Engineer

Overview

We’re hiring Senior Data Engineer for a 6-month extendable contract position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Experience Level : 3+ years of strong experience with Python, PySpark, and Databricks .

Note : This opportunity is open to Malaysian citizens due to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Build and optimize large-scale data processing systems for batch and real-time processing.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity through effective data modeling and governance.
• Implement and maintain data warehousing solutions to support BI and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and storage layers.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and big data technologies.
