Overview
We are seeking an experienced leader to head our IoT Presales team, driving the development and delivery of IoT solutions to support enterprise sales growth in the IoT and telecommunications space. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of IoT presales professionals, developing and executing presales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of IoT presales professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high performance
- Develop and execute presales strategies to support enterprise sales growth in IoT and telecommunications
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs
- Work with product management teams to gather requirements and provide input on product development
- Develop and maintain technical presales materials, including sales enablement tools and customer presentations
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams on complex customer opportunities
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform presales strategies and identify areas for improvement
- Manage and optimize the presales process, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of technical solutions
- Develop sales plans and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Manage booking and revenue liquidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition
Required Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or a related field8-12 years of experience in technical presales, sales, or a related field, with a focus on IoT and telecommunicationsStrong technical understanding of IoT and telecommunications technologies, including 4G, 5G, and cloud computingProven leadership and management experience, with a track record of driving team performance and growthCore Skills And Competencies
Technical expertise in IoT and telecommunications, with knowledge of wireless communication technology and cloud computingStrong commercial acumen and understanding of sales processesLeadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer needs and develop effective technical solutionsRelevant professional certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CBAP, CIoTP, ISACA, or HCIA, are desirableKPIs And Success Metrics
