Legal Counsel

PEC is an international technology supplier, committed to enable the production of green batteries for a Blue Planet. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based in our Office in Butterworth, Malaysia. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Prepare, interpret and review agreements, contracts, documents, filings, correspondence and various forms. Administer the Intellectual Property of the Company Focus on strategic initiatives and compliance programs to reduce and efficiently manage the company’s risk exposure Report to the VP of Corporate Affairs

The ideal candidate has

A Master’s degree in Law or equivalent, with 3 to 5 years of proven experience, in an international operating company Excellent knowledge of English Strong communication skills, direct and open personality with high ethical standards Excellent analytic, decision-making and negotiating skills An organized, structured and accurate working attitude Experience in a hi-tech / IP sensitive environment
