Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Core HCM Functional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday’s Core HCM module, with experience in requirements gathering, configuration support, data analysis and system testing. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, data and integration teams to support Core HCM functionalities that enhance employee lifecycle management, workforce administration and organizational structure management. You will also work with technical teams, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering business requirements for Core HCM processes and document them accurately
- Support functional consultants in translating business requirements into Workday system configurations and solutions
- Assist in the configuration of Core HCM business processes, including employee records, job management, and organizational structures
- Configure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboards as needed
- Help maintain and update functional documentation to reflect changes in the Core HCM system and business processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Core HCM processes with other Workday modules (Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits)
- Collaborate with data and integration teams to ensure smooth and accurate data flow between Core HCM and other modules / systems, providing functional inputs as needed
- Support the Functional Consultant in preparing test cases, executing system tests, and documenting results to ensure proper system functionality
- Assist with end-user training by supporting the creation of training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing user support
Required Qualifications
Relevant years of experience working with Workday Core HCM or similar HRIS systemsAbility to gather business requirements and translate them into functional documentation; excellent data analysis and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills to work with consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integrationStrong understanding of Workday Core HCM business processes and basic configuration toolsExperience with system testing, including preparing test cases and executing test plansFamiliarity with Workday reporting and security configuration (a plus)Minimum Relevant Experience
