Assistant Guest Services Center Manager – Telecommunications

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur / within the Front Office Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Assistant Guest Services Center Manager – Telecommunications supports the PABX department in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient service processes. This role involves supervising service staff, coordinating repair or maintenance schedules, managing customer inquiries or complaints, and ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. The Asst. Guest Services Center Manager – Telecommunications reports to the Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the service centre to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other departments for parts, tools, and service-related needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, addressing complaints or issues in a professional manner.

Expectations

  • To lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service through effective communication, prompt response to guest inquiries, and proactive problem-solving.
  • To assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Guest Services Telecommunications Center, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality service to all internal and external guests.
  • To assist in training new team members and conducting ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards.
  • To collaborate with IT and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the telecommunications infrastructure.
