The Performance Intelligence team provides business intelligence to support decision making across the Purchasing function globally, enabling leaders to make better decisions faster through improved access to relevant data and analysis. The role will be responsible for providing regular reporting on category performance and supplier management activities as well as ad hoc requests for insights. This position will also involve working closely with other members of the team to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing reports by updating them regularly based on new data sets received from various sources such as ERP systems or external vendors.
- Develop dashboards using Tableau software which can be accessed via a web browser interface allowing users to view current trends in spend data at different levels within the organization (e.g., by region).
- Create visualizations of key metrics using Power BI tool so they are easy to understand quickly.
- Build predictive models using machine learning algorithms to identify patterns in large datasets related to spend categories. These models can then be used to forecast future spending behavior.
- Provide analytical support for critical initiatives by conducting research and gathering information from multiple sources.
- Conduct root cause analysis on variances between actuals and budgets / forecasts to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar field preferred but not required; equivalent experience may substitute.Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Power Query and SQL highly desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being a collaborative teammate.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure.Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be advantageous.Benefits
