Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

As a Deployment Consultant you will be working across multi-clients; which this role offers an exceptional combination of design, implementation, deployment, configuration and analysis. This role requires hands on experience with deployment of Data Protection Solutions such as Commvault & Veeam, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Solution, VMWare Solution with working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and O365 Security.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deployment, strong technical knowledge on Microsoft Core Infrastructure and Business Productivity Suite. The ability to effectively present to a wide range and size of audiences is a must. A good understanding of issues surrounding deployment, management, security and integration of technologies and solutions is require.

What are you accountable for?

• Responsible for providing advisory role on Data Protection & Disaster Recovery domain based on industry practices.
• Assist account managers in Pre-Sales activities such as sourcing hardware and software from vendor, generating technical proposal and technical proposal presentation.
• Produce enterprise-level architecture design of Data Protection & Disaster Recovery focusing on cloud and hybrid.
• Direct involvement in each phase of Backup & DR implementation project which includes information gathering, workshop, design, planning, deployment, testing and commissioning.
• Produce project documentation in Planning, Design, Deployment, UAT and System Build.
• Conduct Data Protection & Disaster Recovery Wellness Assessment.
• Conduct certified product training.

What do you need to have for this role?

• Minimum of 10 years of technical experience ideally for On-Prem Solution, Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Solution & VMWare Solution Technologies
• Able to create related infrastructure documentation (technical infrastructure design, build guide, operations guide)
• Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Candidates must possess relevant certification in Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution.
• Willing to travel overseas for project implementation, training and assessment.
• Strong interpersonal skill and good attitude.
• Sense of responsibility and able to maintain good relationship with project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently on individual assignments and collectively with a team on large projects.
• Experience in Cloud as DR such as Microsoft Azure and AWS would be an advantage.
• Candidates with in-depth product knowledge in Commvault and Veeam are preferred.
