What you'll be doing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable / receivable
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and tax returns in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Providing financial advice and guidance to small business clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial operations
- Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial management
- Continually seeking opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of the finance function
- Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Mentoring and supervising junior members of the accounting team, as required
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a small practice or boutique firmExcellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detailStrong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholdersProficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applicationsA proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvementA valid accounting certification or license (e.g., CPA, ACCA) would be highly desirableJob Type : Full-time
Pay : RM7, RM8,000.00 per month
