Overview
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that the company complies with all Occupational Safety & Health regulatory requirements and standards.
Planning, reviewing and conducting plant-wide programs, such as CHRA, Noise Monitoring, Legal & Chemical Register, Fire Safety Management, etc.
Conduct monthly inspections / audits to ensure that all findings and recommendations are promptly addressed by relevant departments.
Carry out full investigations and provide reports on accidents and related incidents, complete with DOSH acknowledgement and reporting.
Liaise with local authority / regulatory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, Bomba, auditors, etc.) on safety & health matters.
Propose and execute external training and coordinate in-house safety and health training and induction for new hires and refresher courses.
Conduct mock drills, review emergency response plans, and ensure readiness for fire, chemical spills, or other emergencies.
Work closely with the operational team to integrate safety into operational processes.
