Position

Senior Network Engineer at Worldline – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job Description

This position is in the networking team responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of worldwide networks and network security architectures. The role requires expertise in LAN / WAN / DC / WLAN / AWS Cloud networking and network security, including routing, switching, DC networking, cloud networking (public and private), firewalls, VPNs, Web Proxy, NAC, wireless, virtualization, and automation.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Specifying, installing, upgrading, repairing, and troubleshooting networking for both AWS Cloud and Data Center.
• Perform field work (installing / commissioning / decommissioning systems) and contribute to field work standards and best practices.
• Hands‑on skills for AWS networking technologies such as AWS DX, AWS VPN, Transit Gateway, Gateway Load Balancer, VPC, VPC peering, ELB / ALB / NLB.
• Hands‑on skills for AWS networking security such as AWS Security Hub, Guardrails, GuardDuty, Ingress VPC, Egress VPC.
• Strong hands‑on skills for Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba mainstream product line operation and cloud network.
• Work closely with other members of the TS (Technique Service) team and end users. Understanding of the OSI reference model.
• Independently or collaboratively troubleshoot and resolve issues reported related to Network, LAN, WAN, and AWS Cloud Network.
• Knowledge of networking technologies such as Ethernet, IPsec, VLANs, HSRP, VRRP, TCP / IP, QoS, ACLs, MPLS, VPNs.
• Understanding of routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP.
• Good understanding of information security and compliance (PCI‑DSS, ISO, etc).
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Communicate within and outside of project team to resolve conflicts in implementation schedules, design challenges, and other complexities.
• Oversee existing systems to ensure appropriate resources are in place to maintain service levels and meet new demands.
• Bring individuals together from different backgrounds, locations, and cultures to accomplish project goals.
