JOB FUNCTIONS : BUSINESS

  • Plans and implements business development and promotion in line with set targets.
  • Organises promotional campaigns and projects in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
  • Establishes good customer rapport with all clients and the community.
  • Sources for new business.   Maximises profitability for the branch.
  • Periodic reports to be submitted on marketing activities and sales.
  • Supervision of activities of the marketing / sales personnel at your branch.

OPERATIONS

  • Oversees the daily operations of your branch. To liaise with the Manager-Branch Technical Operations on any technical matters which need attention.  Ensures that the laboratory operations runs smoothly and efficiently via the Lab Manager.
  • Oversees and implements quality control on all tests.  To see to the documentation of quality control issues.
  • Ensures that the branch is adequately equipped and well maintained.  To oversee the general maintenance of the branch,  ie lighting, cleanliness and security.
  • Checks on stock levels of all items (laboratory, office and the branch).  Responsible for purchases of the branch.
  • Oversees the welfare of staff and promotes teamwork. Deals with any staff issues which may arise from time to time, ie grievances, disciplinary matters and others.
  • Oversees staff performance, recommends training and does staff appraisals. Recommends promotions, upgrading and increments accordingly. To ensure that there is adequate manpower for the branch.
  • Relays Company's mission and policies to all staff.
  • Attends to any customer complaints or queries as necessary.

    • ADMINISTRATIVE

  • Ensures that accounting reports and financial data are up to date.
  • Oversees the credit control of the branch.
  • Oversees the running of the office and ensures that all documents are systematically filed.
  • Oversees the payroll of staff and remit payroll details to HQ.
  • Liaise with HQ on policy matters.

    • Requirements :

  • Qualification in Biomedical Science , need to be registered under Akta 774.
  • Fresh graduate can be considered as training is provided.
  • With own transport as need to make regular visits to doctors clients
  • Those who are currently working in laboratory can apply as management training is provided.
