Senior Design Engineer

to lead the full electrical design cycle—from concept through construction—delivering advanced engineering solutions that set new standards in clean energy. Your Mission Create and review complete electrical designs for LSS projects : PV array layouts, DC / AC sizing, inverters, transformers, and Balance of Plant (BOP). Prepare and validate Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), grounding and protection schemes, and cable routing plans. Run load-flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies to maximize system reliability and performance. Ensure full compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Malaysian Grid Code, IEC, and MS standards. Provide expert input for feasibility studies, tenders, and EPC contractor selection. Integrate designs with civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines for cost-efficient solutions. Support construction, testing, and commissioning teams, resolving interconnection or design issues swiftly. Review and approve EPC / consultant submissions and shop drawings for technical accuracy. Compliance & Documentation Deliver high-quality technical reports, design justifications, and documentation for internal management, regulators, and stakeholders. Uphold strict safety, quality, and environmental standards, maintaining audit-ready design records. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in electrical design. What You Bring 1) Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Professional Engineer (Ir.) registration with BEM is highly valued. 2) Experience : 5+ years of electrical design

for renewable energy or large infrastructure projects (utility-scale solar preferred). 3)Technical Mastery : a) Proven expertise in solar PV system design, HV / LV electrical networks, and substation design. b) Proficiency with ETAP, PVSyst, AutoCAD, and other design / simulation tools. c) Familiarity with Malaysian Grid Code, ST licensing, and utility interconnection processes. d) Added Advantage : SEDA Malaysia GCPV Design Certification—a strong plus for this role. 4) Core Skills :

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities with outstanding communication and teamwork skills. 5) Flexibility :
