Group Finance Accountant

Penerangan pekerjaanA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.) Must be a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar group finance role, preferably within the manufacturing industry Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Excellent understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team Proficient in the use of financial software and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels A self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to problem-solving. Must be a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in a similar group finance role Proficiency in English is a must May need to travel to China's sister company, not often Presentable, would need to present to investor / stakeholder regularly Open to all, MIA is most important, English need to be good

Group Finance Accountant - Muar
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Manage the group's accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and the leadership team, to provide financial guidance and support
- Ensure the group's adherence to all relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function
- Supervise and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
