Description
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Global Process Manager, and Performance Improvement Team in conducting regular end-to-end process reviews to identify opportunities for process changes and improvements that enhance efficiency and performance.
- Report to and coordinate with the Team Lead and other internal stakeholders, including Global Headquarters, Local Management, and Lines of Business.
- Review and resolve aged and outstanding items with appropriate follow-up actions to ensure timely clearance, while monitoring and tracking account movements to maintain accuracy and cleanliness. Present findings and agree on corrective actions with stakeholders to improve operational processes and strengthen preventive controls.
- Maintain Master Data, prepare journal entries, reconciliation reports, and accounting analysis to ensure transaction accuracy and completeness, in line with process handbooks, desktop procedures (DTP), and Closing Cockpit requirements (timelines, quality checklist, etc.).
- Execute closing activities efficiently, adhering to defined schedules and standard procedures. Where deviations are required due to business needs, ensure proper documentation and stakeholder approval.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies to safeguard the integrity of financial information.
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the team for expert advice on SAP technical matters and RTR business processes.
- Actively manage issues within and across processes, conducting root cause analysis and engaging stakeholders to agree on corrective actions.
- Develop and review work procedures and documentation to identify and implement process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR scope to enhance productivity, strengthen controls, and support process standardization.
- Monitor the performance and efficiency of RTR through regular KPI reviews, driving corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
- Leverage systems and tools effectively to deliver business results, working closely with IT, SAP, and other functions to enable process automation.
- Contribute to multiple projects and finance initiatives, ensuring successful implementation within defined timelines and budgets.
- Manage the onboarding of new team members to ensure effective knowledge transfer and smooth handovers in alignment with team objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, leading and supporting members in executing initiatives that drive process enhancements.
Profile
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CPA, MIA).At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Accounting / Finance or within a Shared Service Center (SSC), with solid hands-on exposure in the RTR function.Proficient in financial and accounting systems such as SAP HANA, COUPA, SAP FIORI, SAP Analytics / Business Intelligence, Cadency, Blackline, Lucernex, and familiar with operational tools including MS Office / Google Workspace, SNOW, Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Google Looker, and Concur.Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to clearly communicate insights and observations.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.Capable of working professionally and collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Strong knowledge and application of professional accounting standards and principles, particularly IFRS.Skilled in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting accounting data, investigations, and root cause findings to support effective business decision-making.Proven experience in managing migration projects and driving process improvement initiatives, both at local and global levels.Competence in process modeling and documentation.Strong problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency improvements.Job Offer
