• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Ensure projects are completed on time.
• Investigate operational problems affecting production and advise for solutions.
• Supervising junior staff and ensuring effective communication in order to avoid errors.
• Allocating work to a team of fitters.
• Develop work instructions, procedure, workmanship standards and process documents, and ensure they are followed.
• Responding immediately to equipment, machine or and system breakdowns.
• Train new hire workers and supervise staff on new development processes and technology.
• Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required while the product is produced good quality.
• Perform trouble-shoot of functionality failures boards & root causes analysis while advise for countermeasure.
• Liaise and communicate with different departments regarding processes quality, technical issue, model transfer and NPI.
• Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are monitored and targets achieved.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities & lead on operational process improvement activities.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Identify, preparing EAIA & issue the new process, equipment or chemical application form for the new manufacturing process, equipment upgrade, new equipment, chemical, machine and or new construction introduce.
• Maintain safe & excellent 5S housekeeping in respective workstations & production floor.
• Support overtime when required.
• Equipment and / or machine setup in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Conducting performance appraise, supervise and communicating job expectations, coaching, counseling, and disciplining subordinate.
• To lead the team to improve the quality, productivity by leading Kaizen and / or QIT events, improving utilization and balancing tasks.
