What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Account Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, you will drive new business growth for Wati in Malaysia and the wider region. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects, showcasing how Wati can transform customer engagement through WhatsApp. This role focuses on taking demo calls, representing Wati at events, and closing deals. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships, and customer success to accelerate revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification to close, driving new business in Malaysia and regional markets
- Conduct compelling product demos for inbound and outbound prospects
- Represent Wati at local and regional industry events, partner events, and webinars to generate and convert leads
- Build and nurture relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients, particularly in eCommerce and customer engagement sectors
- Negotiate contracts, manage deal structures, and ensure customer success from the first engagement
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to strengthen our offering in Malaysia and beyond
