ASNBBT Software Tester (Junior)

Role of BT Software Tester (Junior)

The role includes but is not limited to the following :

Understand Business Requirements of IT-related projects / system enhancements,
Design testing plans and UAT activities based on system functions and features,
Develop test scenarios and / or test cases,
Identify and prepare test data,
Execute test scripts and perform testing according to the UAT test plan and timeline,
Manage UAT activities including performing End of Day (EOD) activities, report generation, data requests from ASNB agents for internal testing, confirm fix variances, and prepare UAT-related reports and sign-off documents.

Additional Skills

Good communication skills (both email and spoken) and presentation skills,

Able to articulate complex issues clearly and objectively for business understanding,

Good time management and attention to deadlines,

Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills,

Proactive with a go-getter attitude,

Ability to write test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and sign-off documents,

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects,

Understanding of financial institution processes, especially in the unit trust sector,

Ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent,

More than two (2) years of experience in developing, creating, preparing, capturing, and strategizing test plans, scenarios, and cases,

Experience in preparing and executing test scenarios and cases according to the test plan,

Experience monitoring UAT activities, particularly using Jira,

Extensive experience in banking and unit trust industries is preferred.
