This role is responsible to manage the end-to-end cycle of the company’s overall medical business, including claims analytics & management, medical repricing exercises and stakeholder management, to achieve growth and strong profitability.

Key responsibilities :

  • Build and identify key source data to perform detailed medical claims analysis.
  • Carry out regular medical experience studies (at least quarterly) to help the company manage cost.
  • Participate in industry dialogues and data submission related to the medical block.
  • Lead and project manage medical repricing initiatives or provide solutions to manage claims.
  • Deal directly with all stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders such as GELM (HSD department) and GEH.
  • Participate closely in medical product development and implementation of cost management initiatives.
  • Work closely with the product and pricing teams and perform industry studies on medical products to advise the team on how best to structure medical products while aligning with FTFC principles.
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns / risk and proactively shares best risk‑management practices.

We are looking for people who

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field such as actuarial, statistics, mathematics, etc.
  • Ability to code and tools such as Tableau will be an advantage as the candidate should automate the process of preparing medical studies regularly.
  • More than 7 years’ experience in actuarial or analytical role.
  • Core competencies : leadership, problem solving, interpersonal skills, business acumen, job functional knowledge, relationship building, customer service orientation, analytical thinking.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
