Project Architect

The Project Architect will be an integral part of our team, with the opportunity to be involved in both project management and design aspects of architecture. This role is suitable for someone with 5 years of experience in the field who has a strong interest in design and a willingness to learn about the intricacies of project management.

Proper execution of architectural consultancy works under the schematic design phase, design development phase, tender / contract preparation phase, contract administration phase and post contract phase, as stipulated under the Latest Scale of Minimum Fees by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia.

Responsible for making sure that all projects within your control are completed on time and that all coordination works are properly carried out.

To keep abreast with the latest development in terms of design development and construction.

To liaise and coordinate works with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and the relevant Authorities related to the assigned projects in the preparation and production of all

To assist in or directly lead the team in the preparation of Architectural drawings / documents for design development, submission, tender, construction, etc.

Assist in collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on relevant documents / drawings preparation for all phases of work.

Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Requirements :

Candidate must possess a Part 2 Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

Minimum 5 years experience

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with leadership ability to coordinate the various consultants, contractors and suppliers

Candidate must have working experience in architectural / building industry.

Well-versed in operating AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Sketch Up, Enscape & Revit.

Excellent time management skills and able to meet deadlines

Strong creative sense, team player, able to work independently and self-motivated.

Possess own transport and willing to travel.
