Arla Pro, the foodservice business unit of Arla Foods, delivers quality dairy products to chefs and foodservice businesses around the globe. We are currently looking regional Foodservice Representatives with strong commercial acumen who can contribute to the growth and to strengthen Arla Pro presence in Malaysia food service sector.

B2B / Foodservice Area Representative - Southern Malaysia (Based in Johor)

How you will make an impact

As our new Foodservice Representative , you will play a key role in executing on our growth ambitions. As part of this, you will drive incremental sales, develop the dairy category and ensure profitable growth in foodservice channel. It will require you to execute a comprehensive business development plan to grow market share. Your role will focus on operational excellence, strategic and tactical development.

To succeed in this role, it’s important that we win together with our local distribution partner, securing high customer satisfaction and long-lasting relations with foodservice customers

Responsibilities

• Promotes Arla Pro’s products and services, by working collaboratively with a local distribution partner within an assigned geographic area in Malaysia to meet revenue targets.
• Pursues business leads. Identify, research and contact prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future and repeating business, including partnerships with key stakeholders in the food service industry.
• Assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate solutions that may include products and / or services
• Performs product troubleshooting for end customers with solutions that are strongly backed by technical knowledge
• Work effectively with a cross functional team to launch new products and execute joint marketing initiatives in the designated area of coverage

What will make you successful

To thrive in this position, we believe that you have a University Degree with a few years of relevant practical experience (min 5 years) or extensive relevant work experience (10+ years) with vocational or technical education. It’s important that you work independently and come a position where you are used to being proactive in managing daily operational matters. Expertise in dairy and food ingredients with ability to address product and technical inquiries from chefs, R&D and foodservice operators is an advantage.

As a person, you have a curious mindset that drives you to explore new possibilities. Your business acumen and analytical mindset empower you to overcome complex challenges successfully. You are comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment and will serve as a reliable and passionate ambassador for Arla Pro. Additionally, you have the ability to foster a work environment built on trust, respect, and collaboration and personal power and persistence will be instrumental in driving your ideas forward.
