Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years PQE in offshore energy projects, with strong FPSO / EPCI negotiation experience.
- Proven track record negotiating complex charter and EPCI / EPCIC agreements.
- Deep knowledge of risk allocation, insurance programs, and offshore project delivery.
- Strong commercial judgment, technical literacy, and negotiation skills under tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; French or Portuguese advantageous.
- Career progression to Legal Manager within 2 years.
Responsibilities
Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of FPSO charter agreements, EPCI / EPCIC contracts, O&M agreements, and JV / consortium arrangements.Manage risk allocation, including indemnities, liability caps, LDs, warranties, uptime metrics, variations, EOTs, and force majeure.Support bids and tenders, review ITTs / RFPs, prepare deviations / qualifications, and align legal exceptions with technical and commercial deliverables.Oversee regulatory and compliance matters (export controls, anti-bribery / anti-corruption, local content, human rights).Mentor junior legal team members and collaborate with project directors, engineering, finance, supply chain, and clients.If this opportunity aligns with your career goals, please submit your CV to with your availability for a confidential discussion.
